Removing and installing roof grab handle

Special tools and workshop equipment required

t	Removing wedge -3409-

Note

The illustration shows the front grab handle on the right. Removal and installation of the other grab handles are identical.

Removing

–	Fold down grab handle -1- and release cover caps -2-.

–	Withdraw cover caps -2- as far as stop and release grab handle from mountings.

Note

Alternatively, it is possible to release the cover caps carefully with a screwdriver.

Installing

Note

Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.

Install in reverse order of removal.
