Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removing wedge -3409-
  Note
Removal and installation are described for the driver seat. Removal and installation for the front passenger seat are analogous.

Remove on sill side
t  Remove cover -3- from trim -1-.
or
t  Remove lever for Easy Entry → Chapter.
  Note
t  The Easy Entry lever is not shown in the figure.
t  The Easy Entry lever replaces item -3-.
Remove on sill side, all seats
–  Remove expanding pin -4- and withdraw expanding clip -5- from trim -1-.
–  Release retaining clip -2- of trim -1- from seat frame.
–  Remove trim -1- from mountings in seat frame.

Installing
  Note
Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
   
Removing, tunnel side
–  Remove backrest adjustment lever -5- → Chapter.
–  Remove expanding pin -4- and withdraw expanding clip -3- from trim -1-.
–  Release retaining clip -2- of trim -1- from seat frame.
–  Remove trim -1- from mountings in seat frame.

Installing
  Note
Before installing, check all fasteners for damage and renew if necessary.
–  Install in reverse order of removal.
