Removing and installing seat heating element
Removing and installing seat heating element
  Note
t  Removal and installation is described for the left seat. Apply the same instructions for removal and installation of right seat components as appropriate.
t  The cushion -1- and the seat heating element-2- are bonded together.
Removing
–  Remove seat cushion → Chapter.
–  Unplug connector for seat heating element.
   
–  Pull seat heating element -1- away from seat cushion -2-.
–  Guide wire through opening in seat cushion.
Installing
–  Align seat heating element -1- on seat surface with seams -3-.
–  Peel off backing and bond seat heating element to cushion surface, starting at rear.

–  Press cable -2- into gap.
  Note
t  Ensure that seat heating element is bonded without creases.
t  The adhesive strip may only be used once.
