| It must be possible to move the defroster and air distribution flap actuator to its end positions easily and smoothly. |

| Switch fresh air blower to highest speed: if air flows out of the defroster vent when „Defrost“ has been selected, and not out of the footwell vent, this means that the flexible shaft has been installed correctly. Otherwise, remove the flexible shaft from the heating and air conditioning controls, turn control knob 1/2 rotation (180°) and refit the flexible shaft. Repeat check. |
