Pressing sealing flange with sender wheel onto crankshaft > < Removing and installing sealing flange on gearbox side

  Note
t  For reasons of clarity, the work was performed with the engine removed.
t  The procedure is identical whether the engine is installed or removed.
Procedure
–  Remove flywheel and drive disc.
–  Set engine to TDC for No. 1 cylinder → Chapter.
–  Remove sump → Chapter.
   
–  Remove engine speed sender -G28--arrow-
–  Unscrew securing bolts of sealing flange.
  Note
Sealing flange and sender wheel are pressed off the crankshaft together using three M6×35 mm bolts.
  N13-10083
–  Screw in 3 M6 x 35 mm bolts into threaded holes of sealing flange -arrows-.
–  Screw bolts into sealing flange alternately (max. 180° per bolt) in order to press sealing flange from crankshaft together with sender wheel.
