Checking The Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve.
-Ignition off.
Connect an ohmmeter between terminals 1 and 2 on the IAC valve.
The ohmmeter should read approx. 8 OHMS.
It this value is OK:
-Connect the test box EM3.
If the reading Is incorrect:
-Try using a new IAC valve.

Connecting The Test Box
Connect the test box to MFI LH 2.4!LH 3.1 and check the GND points in accordance with P1-P2.
-Continue with Checking the resistance to GND EM4.

-Disconnect the IAC valve.
Connect an ohmmeter between #5 and #9.
The ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.
If this value is OK:
Check the wiring and the IAC valve resistance EM5.
