A-PILLAR TRIM MOULDING
Check the seal around the aluminum panel strip. If necessary, apply additional sealing compound to the edges of the strip. Extra care should be taken to
ensure that a good seal is formed.
This trim moulding was modified on 1984 product and the joint is now moved upwards.
These are alternate methods of repair for windshield trim mouldings as follows:
WINDSHIELD TRIM MOULDING (ALTERNATE 1)
Check that the rubber part of the trim moulding presses against the windshield.
IF NECESSARY, REMOVE MOULDING AND REPLACE PLASTIC CLIPS Remove moulding at sides and top by sliding clips as follows:
Slide clips:
- upwards on right side (see illustration)
