Belt tensioner with key grip (2) (four-edged hole) on the belt tensioner center.

Remark: Lock the belt tensioner in service position with a locking pin in the holes (3) when they are in line with each other. Use special tool number
9995547 (shadowed in picture) to turn the belt tensioner.

No service required.

G-TYPE

Idler pulley intended for mounting and belt tensioner of the type according to the table below (refer also to A1 and A2).

The hub (4) is positioned 1 mm (0.04") outside the pulley (see illustration).

The idler pulley might or might not have a hub cover

(5) which protects the hub. (The cover is mounted on the other side of the pulley and cannot be seen in the picture).

Replace the idler pulley if it is the early type (without hub cover) with the later type.
