Install:
-
protective cover under engine (some models only).
-
bolt to negative lead clip on frame member.
-
cable pipe to subframe.
In cars with turbo [LE21]:
-
Install turbocharger air pipe on hose connection at lower intercooler connection.
[LE22]
Install:
-
front protective cover. Press cover into position on frame edge. Push it forwards and press up at the back so cover guide fits into its track.

Install bolts.
Installing gaiter, nut, bolt and locking lugs [LE23]
Install:
-
gaiter to steering wheel column joint/body opening. Make sure that gaiter is properly in place. Press gaiter circlip home and bend back top of
gaiter.

steering wheel column to steering wheel shaft. Use new locking nut. Tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft.lb). Install locking lugs.
Installing sound wall (insulation) [LE24]
In cars with SRS:
-
Install knee guard. Tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft.lb).

Install sound wall.
