Install rubber plug in the seat frame hole.
Turn the cut upwards (D).
Install Edge Trim on Panel Edges
Install edge trim on panel edges under the cables to the seat belt warning and control unit. Length of each trim, approximately 60 mm (2.4 in.), P/N
699856-1 (C).
Install Edge Trim on the Wire Matting
Use edge trim, P/N 699856-1.
The spring assembly is held in place by three coil springs on each side.
Measure and cut the edge trim, the edge trim should be installed between the coil springs so that they cover any sharp edges on the strands, see
illustration. Secure the wiring from seat belt buckle and control unit to edge trim on the spring assembly using tie straps.
Protection of Seat Heater Wiring
Install Protective Hose on Wiring to Seat Heating
Install 50 mm (2 in.) long protective hose P/N 979238-3 on those cables that are not protected.
Install two tie straps, P/N 948211-8 around protective hose to prevent the cables coming out of the protective hose.
Install Edge Trim
