Final drive housing, complete
The final drive housing is made of modular cast iron with an aluminium cover. The cover is provided with integral pins for the bushings.
The new designations are:

1055, without differential lock

New differentials, with and without differential lock

New crown wheel bolts

New locking plate for crown wheel bolts
The oil thrower has been eliminated.
Drive shaft
Two versions of drive shaft are available, one for the 2.5-litre and one for the 3-litre engine.
The drive shafts are not provided with drive flanges or bolted joints. Each comprises a unit which is attached to the differential gear by means of a snap
ring.
