General
The audio unit is not connected to the data link connector (DLC) in the car.
All diagnostics and other settings are directly controlled by menus in the display on Audio HU1205. Diagnostic functions are activated using the buttons
(dark in the illustration to the left) on the front panel.
Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
6 diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) can be stored in audio unit HU 1205. The audio system / navigation system can diagnose both internal and external
faults. The following diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) can be stored: AUM-1000 Memory control, AUM-2000 CD servo, AUM-2100 CD unit,
AUM-3000 GPS receiver, AUM-3100 GPS antenna and AUM-6000 Audio unit. The diagnostic menu must be activated as described below in order to
read diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), to carry out other tests and to change settings.
