Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair
Lock Mechanism Rear Side Door, Replacing

Removing the lock mechanism for the rear side door
The window must be closed.
Remove:
-
the door panel.
-
the run-off profile. See Drip guard
-
the screw holding the guide rail.
Push the guide rail out of the way.
Remove the 3 screws for the lock mechanism.
Remove:
-
the link between the lock mechanism and the outer handle (2)
-
the link for the lock button (3).
