Rear Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

Handle, outer rear, side door, replacing
The window must be in the uppermost position.
Remove the anti-drip protection. See Drip guard See: Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Drip Guard
Note! Only the drip guard needs to be removed.
Unhook the cable for the inner door opener (1).
Remove the guide rail for the window (1 screw at the rear edge of the door).
Unhook the connecting rod for the lock button (3).
Remove the connecting rod for the outer door handle (2).
