Remove the heat deflector plate on the bulkhead. See Replacing the heat shield for the TXV valve See: Expansion Valve/Service and Repair/Replacing
the Heat Shield for the TXV Valve.

Remove the locking bracket for the refrigerant pipes

Disconnect the refrigerant pipes from the expansion valve
