ECM Reprogrammer procedure through VIDA
When using VIDA to perform the S or V 40 ECM Reprogrammer (VEMS) upgrade the method is somewhat different than VADIS.
After the ECM Reprogrammer procedure is started and before doing anything else write down and save the entire number that appears in the box labeled
Engine Control Module P/N. This number will be required if the download attempt fails for any reason. This number is visible in the box after the car
profile is entered and VIDA communicates with the ECM
