Apply the parking brake. Start the engine.
Turn the steering wheel from lock to lock several times.
Check the function. Check that there is no leakage.
Check the oil level. Top up if required. 
Use Pentosen CHF11S. Install the engine cover. 
Reinstall the cover over the headlamps if it was removed.

Return Line

Oil return line power steering, replacing (LHD)

Removal 

Preparations 

Open the hood. 
Remove the engine cover, if applicable. 
B4184SM/SJ: Remove the air intake hose. 
DIESEL/B4184SM/SJ: Release the fusebox. 
Move the fusebox to one side. 
Gasoline engines: Remove the preheating hose, if applicable. 
Remove the mounting nuts for the heat deflector plate and remove the plate from the cowl panel. Remove the heat deflector plate from the steering
gear housing by removing the mounting screw (A) and then pulling the plate away from the steering gear housing (clamps). Move the heat deflector
plate as far as possible to the side.

Removing the pipe clamps on the return line 

Remove the pipe clamp (A) from the mounting, right-hand side.
Disconnect the pipe clamp (B), slide the clamp off the rubber and remove the clamp.
Remove the pipe clamp (C) from the support bracket (D4192T3, T4 from the thermostat housing).
Release the return line rubber from the delivery line (the rubber is vulcanized onto the return line).

Complete removal of air intake hose and air cleaner (ACL) housing. Releasing the fusebox (turbocharged gasoline engines)
