Installing the SIPS sensor (B-post)
Install:

the connector and check the locking

the two screws. Tighten to 6 Nm

the foam
-
the lower B-post panel according to Lower B-post panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Lower B-Post Panel.
Finishing work
Prepare the car according to Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting.
Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) via VIDA. Erase the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Preparing the car
Prepare the car according to Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting.
Fold up the rear seat seat cushion. Fold the backrest forward.
Remove the screw and side cushion (A).
Remove the rear sill trim panel according to Rear sill trim panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Rear Sill
Trim Panel.
