Disconnect the connector from the seat belt tensioner

Remove the seat belt reel from the B-post (2 screws)

Pull the seat belt upwards and outwards from the lower panel on the B-post.
Checking The Seat Belt Tensioner

Insert a wire in the pipe on the seat belt tensioner.
This is to check the position of the piston.
Position A:
the seat belt tensioner has deployed.

Replace both the seat belt tensioners.
Position B:
the seat belt tensioner has not deployed.
