Connect special tool 951 1506 to the two steering wheel module connectors.

Connecting the tool makes it possible to drive the car without the SRS on-board diagnostic (OBD) system registering a diagnostic trouble code
(DTC).

If the ignition is switched on when neither the steering wheel module nor special tool are connected, an open-circuit diagnostic trouble code (DTC)
will be stored. (diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) must be erased)
Installing The Steering Wheel Module
CAUTION: Disconnect the battery negative lead.

Remove special tool 951 1506

Turn the ignition switch to position I so that the steering wheel lock is disengaged

Reconnect the connector (A) to the steering wheel module.
