Steering Wheel Module And Steering Wheel
Special Tools: 951 1506
Preparations
Prepare the car.
Removing The Steering Wheel Module

Remove the steering column covers.

Turn the ignition switch to position I so that the steering wheel lock is disengaged

Slacken off the two Torx 30 screws (angled at 45°) on the reverse of the steering wheel

Disconnect the SRS switches (A) from the steering wheel module by pressing the catches on the side
-
Carefully pull the switch straight out. Do not use tools which can damage the switch.

Remove the steering wheel module
-
Place the steering wheel module with the switch side downwards in a safe place. The steering wheel module must not covered with anything
