Apply Grease 1161037-5, on the inside of the rubber.

-

Install the wiper motor and tighten the mounting screw (3 x).

-

Connect the connector.

Hint: Activate the wiper motor once. Check that the motor stopped in the parked position.

Install the control arm according to the markings.

-

Tighten the nut to 20 Nm. Use a 20 mm U-wrench to secure the control arm when the nut is pulled out.

-

Check the wiper motor function by rotating it a number of times.

-

Press the drive mechanism ball into position using a large screwdriver and reinstall the motor with the mounting plate, 4 x mounting screws.

-

Install the cover.

Replacing the windshield wiper shaft and / or the link rod

-

Remove the wiper arms, see Windshield wiper arm See: Wiper Arm/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.

-

Remove the cover, 7 x screws.

-

Remove the panel.

Note! Inside the panel there are 4 clips.
