Note! Do not damage the roof panel or the hose for the tailgate washer.

Take the sensor with the blue connector from the kit

-

Disconnect the existing taped connector from the headlining

-

Connect the connector to the sensor

-

Remove the backing from the tape on the sensor

-

Position the sensor within the four recesses in the headlining where the blue connector was. Ensure that the sensor is straight.

Note! To function correctly, the sensor must be within the corner markings and must not be twisted more than 5 degrees.

-

Counterhold the underneath of the headlining. Press the sensor into place.

Reinstall:

-

the clip in the centre of the headlining

-

the screws in the mounting over the rear side window. Tighten to 50 Nm (37 lbf.ft.). Press the cover into place

-

the grab handle over the rear door. Tighten the screws. Tighten to 8 ± 2 Nm (6 ± 1.5 lbf. ft.). Press the cover into place

-

the side panel. Tighten. Tighten the screws for the load securing eyelets. Tighten to 24 Nm (18 lbf. ft.). Press the covers into place

-

the C and D-post panels. Connect any connectors

-

the rubber strip at the rear edge of the opening for the rear door

-

the panel at the front/top of the side panel

-

the side cushion.

-

Fold the backrest and seat cushion back into place on the rear seat

-

Connect the connector for the lighting in the rear headlining.

Reinstall:

-

the rear headlining

-

the sill trim panel for the boot lid

-

the rubber strip in the boot lid opening

-

the cargo compartment carpet (applies only to the V50).

-

Program the function using VCT2000 in VIDA.
