Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

Handle outer door front

Preparatory work

Removing the battery lead (only vehicles with KVM)

Disconnect the battery negative lead. See: See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting

Removal

Removing the outside handle front side door

Remove the cover in the end of the door.

Slacken off the screw for the lock cylinder.

Note! Only slacken off the screw 4 turns. Otherwise the screw may fall down into the door.

Remove:

-

the lock cylinder

-

the rubber seal.

Work the handle loose from the door.

Only vehicles with KVM
