Remove:

the screw

-

the protective cover.

Check the whiplash unit by the rivet on the side of the seat.

If there is no visible space between the rivet and the fitting, then the whiplash unit is functional.
Install in the reverse order.

If there is a visible space between the rivet and the fitting, then the whiplash elements on both sides of the seat shall be replaced acc. to: Collision
