V70 GL L5-2.4L VIN 55 B5254S (1998)
Use a pin spanner 999 5333 on the cover. Remove the cover, spring and pre-tensioning piston.
Remove dust cover and pinion snap ring
Use a screwdriver for the dust cover. Take care not to damage the pinion or the steering gear housing.
Remove pinion cover
Use a chisel. Tap cover loose.
Remove pinion locknut
