4. Remove driveshaft seal.

Use a lever.
5. Installing new driveshaft seal.

Grease seal lip lightly.

Use drift tool No. 999 5541 and shaft tool No. 999 1801, or equivalent.
NOTE: Do not use old style drift (tool No. 999 5478).
LH side:

Put the side of the drift marked "M56" against the driveshaft seal.
RH side

Put the side of the drift marked "M56" against the driveshaft seal, and turn as shown in picture on right.
Tap driveshaft in gently until drift Is touching transmission casing.
