Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Center steering wheel and front wheels.
3.
Pry horn button off steering wheel.
4.
Remove horn button spring.
5.
Remove steering wheel attaching nut.
6.
Mark position of steering wheel in relation to shaft, then remove steering wheel using suitable puller.
7.
Remove upper and lower steering column covers.
8.
Loosen turn signal switch retaining clamp.
9.
Disconnect electrical connectors at switch, then remove switch.
10.
Reverse procedure to install.
