3. On the driver's seat and '00-03 models passenger's seat, disconnect and detach the seat belt switch connector clip (A) and harness clip (B).

Driver's seat is shown, and '00-03 model passenger's seat is similar.
4. Remove the center anchor bolt (C), and remove the seat belt buckle (D).
5. If equipped, remove the seat belt switch harness (E).
-1 On the driver's seat, adjust the seat cushion to its maximum height.
-2 Pull the seat belt switch harness out through the space between the seat cushion and the seat linkage.
6. Install the seat belt buckle in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Verify wire harness routing; Operate the seat (back and forth, up and down), check that the seat functions do not pull or pinch the seat belt
buckle wire harness.

Assemble the washers on the center anchor bolt as shown.
