2. Remove the lower anchor bolt (A), the retractor mounting ET screw (B), the retractor bolt (C), and remove the rear seat belt (D) and retractor (E).
3. Install the seat belt and retractor in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Check that the retractor locking mechanism functions as described.

Before installing the anchor bolt, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the rear seat belt.

Apply liquid thread lock to the lower anchor bolt and the retractor bolt before reinstallation.
Center Belt and Seat Belt Buckles
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the center anchor bolts (A), and remove the seat belt buckles (B).
3. Remove these items:

Rear seat-back.

Rear shelf, '99-01 models, '02-03models.
