SYMPTOM
Brake fluid is dripping from the left front corner of the car, and the ABS modulator is wet. If the reservoir is empty, the ABS light may also be on, and a
Code 1 stored.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The plugs in the ABS modulator assembly are not properly tightened.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remove, reinstall, and torque the plugs in the ABS modulator assembly.
NOTE:
Use the 1997 2.2CL Service Manual for reference when performing this procedure.
