5. Install the spring washer.
6. Securely clamp the countershaft assembly in a bench vise with wood blocks.
7. Tighten the new locknut to the correct torque, then stake the locknut tab into the groove.

Torque: 127 --> 0 --> 127 Nm (94 --> 0 --> 94 ft. lbs.)
