Squeak From the Moonroof Seal
SYMPTOM
The moonroof seal squeaks against the roof when the glass is closed and the sunshade is open.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Install Honda Squeak Reduction tape around the moonroof opening.
REQUIRED MATERIALS
Honda Squeak Reduction Tape (One roll repairs about 12 vehicles): P/N 70200-ALL-999

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Open the moonroof fully. With a spray bottle of soapy water and a clean towel, thoroughly clean the edge of the moon roof opening. Rinse the
opening with clean water, then dry it with a clean towel.
2.
With a clean towel, wipe down the moon roof opening with isopropyl alcohol. This surface must be free of any dirt and grease; otherwise, the tape
will not adhere.
