Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

The in-car temperature sensor assembly includes a small fan (aspirator fan) to draw air past the sensor.

CAUTION:
-

All SRS wiring harnesses are covered with yellow outer insulation.

Before disconnecting any part of the SRS wire harness, install the short connectors.

Replace the entire affected SRS harness assembly if it has an open circuit or damaged wiring.

1. Remove the climate control unit.

2. Remove the front panel of climate control unit.

3. Disconnect the in-car sensor connector from the side of the climate control unit.
4. Remove the air intake tube.

5. Release the holder claws, then pull out the sensor.
