NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to bend or scratch the headliner.

Be careful not to damage the dashboard or other interior trim.

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures, and wait at least 3 minutes
before beginning work.
2. Remove these items:

A-pillar trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas

Ceiling light See: Lighting and Horns/Dome Lamp/Service and Repair
-
B-pillar lower trim See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas

B-pillar upper trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas

Quarter pillar trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas

Sunvisors, both sides See: Sun Visor/Service and Repair

Grab handles, four places See: Passenger Assist Handle/Service and Repair
3. Remove the roof console (A).
1. Detach the clip (B) and release the hooks (C) by pulling the map light assembly (D).
2. Disconnect the front individual map light connector (E) and the moonroof switch connector (F), then remove the map light assembly.
3. Remove the bolts (G), and remove the roof console.
