Seat Cover: Service and Repair
Rear Seat-Back Cover/Pad Replacement
Rear Seat-back Cover/Pad Replacement
NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
1. Remove the rear seat See: Service and Repair/Rear Seat Removal/Installation.
2. Remove the rear seat armrest See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Arm Rest/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.
3. Remove the pivot bracket (A).
1. Using a TORX T40 bit, remove the pivot bolt (B) and the pivot washer (C).
2. Remove the pivot cover (D) and the pivot bracket. If necessary, remove the bushing (E).
4. Install the bracket in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Apply multipurpose grease to the moving portions of the bushing.

Replace any damage or stress-whitened bushing and pivot washer with new one.
5. Remove the clips (A), and detach the clips (B), then remove the striker hole cover (C).
