Thermostat Replacement
1. Drain the engine coolant See: Coolant/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the A/C condenser fan shroud See: Radiator/Service and Repair/Radiator and A/C Condenser Fan, Motor, and Shroud Removal and
Installation.
3. Disconnect the lower hose (A), and remove the harness clamp (B).
4. Remove the thermostat assembly (C).
5. Install the thermostat assembly with a new O-ring (D), then connect the lower radiator hose.
6. Install the A/C condenser fan shroud See: Radiator/Service and Repair/Radiator and A/C Condenser Fan, Motor, and Shroud Removal and
Installation.
7. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system with the heater valve open See: Coolant/Service and Repair.
8. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
