2. Using a plastic trim tool, pry out the trunk light, then disconnect the 2P connector.
3. Pull up on the outside ends of the trunk lid cushions, slide them outwards, and pull them out.
4. Detach all the clips using a trim tool, then remove the trunk lid trim.
5. Remove the license plate, then remove the two screws from the rear license trim.
