6. Disconnect the 2P connectors from both license plate lights, then remove the lights.
7. Remove the two bolts and the two nuts from both back-up lights. Do not remove the lights.
8. From inside the trunk, squeeze the backside of the rear license trim clips with needle nose pliers, then remove the trim from the trunk lid.
