16. While holding the gear (A) perpendicular to the axle of the rear brake (B) by hand, install the rear brake on to the rear brake bracket (C).
NOTE:
-
If you feel any interference between inside gears, remove the rear brake, and repeat step 15.

If the rear brake seats fully on the rear brake bracket with no interference, go to step 17.
17. Install the rear brake mounting bolts (A), and using a TORX T30 bit, tighten them to their specified torque. Using TORX T40 and T30 bits, install
the rear brake bracket mounting bolts (B, C) and tighten them to their specified torque.
18. Reinstall all of removed parts to the seat frame:

Seat cushion cover/pad See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement
19. Reinstall the front seat. See: Service and Repair/Front Seat Removal/Installation
20. Check the front seat up-down operation.
