Adaptive Front Lighting Gearbox Replacement
Removal
1. Remove the headlight assembly. See: Service and Repair/Headlight Replacement
2. Remove the HID unit from the headlight. See: Service and Repair/HID (High Intensity Discharge) Unit Replacement
3. Turn the cover (A) 45 ° counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight housing.
4. Remove the screws and the adaptive front lighting gearbox cover (A) and gasket (B).
5. Turn the adaptive front lighting gearbox connector (A) 45 ° clockwise, and push the connector into the headlight housing (B).
6. Remove the three screws and the adaptive front lighting gearbox (A).
