Adaptive Front Lighting Gearbox Test

1. Disconnect the adaptive front lighting gearbox 8P connector (A) from the headlight.

2. Measure the resistance between the adaptive front lighting gearbox 8P connector terminals No. 4 and No. 7, and between terminals No. 3 and No.

8. There should be about 4.5-5.5 Ohms.

3. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the adaptive front lighting gearbox.

4. After replacement, do the adaptive front lighting control unit learning procedure.  See: Testing and Inspection/Programming and
