Remove the striker cover.

Remove the striker (two bolts).
4.
Install the new striker, making sure you place it directly over the original striker position. Torque the bolts to 9.8 Nm (7.2 lb-ft).
5.
Reinstall the striker cover.
6.
Check the operation of the trunk lid, and adjust the striker if needed.
7.
Reinstall the rear trim panel.
