Hood Latch: Service and Repair
Hood Latch Replacement
NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to scratch the body.
1. Remove the front bumper, 02-04 models, 05-06 models.
2. Remove the bolts, then remove the hood latch (A) from the body.
3. Disconnect the hood opener cable (A) from the hood latch. Take care not to kink the cable.
4. Detach the hood latch switch connector clip (A) from the body, and disconnect the hood latch switch connector (B), then remove the hood latch
