Driving Position Memory System Does Not Work

SYMPTOM
The DPMS has any of these symptoms:

Cannot recall a previously set memory position

Cannot recall a memory position until the ignition is turned on or until the seat adjustment switch has been activated
^
Driving position memory switch LEDs intermittently do not come on when the system is activated
PROBABLE CAUSE
The driver's side power seat control unit loses memory.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the driver's side power seat control unit.
