REPAIR PROCEDURE
NOTE:
Be careful not to scratch the dashboard and related components when removing the center speaker grille.
1.
Carefully pry the front center speaker/grille assembly out of the dashboard, then disconnect the 2P connector from the speaker.
2004-06 Models -

Refer to page 22-444 of the 04-06 TL Service Manual, or

Online, enter keywords SPEAKER REPLACEMENT, and select Speaker Replacement from the list.
2007-08 Models -

Refer to page 23-93 of the 07-08 TL Service Manual, or
^
Online, enter keywords SPEAKER REPLACEMENT, and select Speaker Test( Replacement from the list.
2.
Remove the two screws from the speaker, then remove the speaker.
3.
Cut a 10 mm x 260 mm piece of EPT sealer.
