Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair
Motor Replacement
1. Remove the headliner.
2. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Disconnect the connector (A), and using a T25 Torx bit, remove the bolts, then remove the motor (B). Do not
operate the motor before reinstallation.
3. Install the motor in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Apply liquid thread lock to the motor mounting bolts before reinstallation.

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.

Do the moon roof calibration.
-
Check the motor operation.
