NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to bend or scratch the headliner.

Be careful not to damage the dashboard or the interior trim.

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Remove the front seat head restraints, and hold down the rear seat head restraints. Slide both the front seats all the way back, and fully recline the
seat-back.
2. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures, then wait at least 3 minutes
before beginning work.
3. Remove these items:

A-pillar trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas

B-pillar upper/lower trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas

C-pillar trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Pillar Areas
-
Sunvisors and holders, both sides See: Sun Visor/Service and Repair
-
Grab handles, four places See: Passenger Assist Handle/Service and Repair
-
Center console See: Console/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Center Console Removal/Installation
-
Rear individual map light See: Lighting and Horns/Map Light/Service and Repair
-
High mount brake light cover See: Lighting and Horns/Center Mounted Brake Lamp/Service and Repair

4. Remove the roof console (A).
1. Remove the screws, then pull down the roof console by detaching the clips.
2. Disconnect the roof console connector (B), the moonroof switch connector (C), and the HFL microphone connector (D) (for some models).
