Go to the VSA system symptom troubleshooting for ABS indicator, brake system indicator, VSA indicator do not go off See: Brakes and Traction
Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures/ABS Indicator, Brake System
Indicator, and VSA Indicator Do Not Go OFF.
9. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
10. Start the engine, and watch the EPS indicator.
Does the EPS indicator come on and go off?
YES -
Go to step 21.
NO -
Go to the EPS symptom troubleshooting for EPS indicator dose not go off, and no DTCs are stored See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Testing and
Inspection/Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures/EPS Indicator Does Not Go OFF, and No DTCs are Stored.
11. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
12. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and watch the SH-AWD indicator.
Does the SH-AWD indicator come on and go off?
YES -
Go to step 21.
NO -
Go to the SH-AWD system symptom troubleshooting for SH-AWD indicator dose not go off, and no DTCs are stored See: Transmission and
Drivetrain/Differential Assembly/Testing and Inspection/Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures/The SH-AWD Indicator Does Not Go Off, and No
DTCs Are Stored.
13. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
14. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and watch the TPMS indicator.
Does the TPMS indicator come on and go off?
YES -
Go to step 21.
NO -
Go to the TPMS symptom troubleshooting for TPMS indicator dose not go off, and no DTCs are stored See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning
Indicators/Tire Monitoring System/Testing and Inspection/Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures/TPMS Indicator Does Not GO OFF, and No DTCs
Are Stored.
15. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), or press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
16. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and watch the immobilizer indicator.
Does the immobilizer indicator stay on or flash?
YES -
