14. Measure the brush length. If it is not within the service limit, replace the brush holder assembly.

15. Check for continuity between the (ꬽ) brushes (A) and the (ê-š) brushes (B). If there is continuity, replace the brush holder assembly.
Overrunning Clutch Inspection
16. Slide the overrunning clutch along the shaft.
